She is the 2001 Canadian silver medalist. She suffers from Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Her medical condition caused her to stop competitive figure skating for health reasons in 2003. She returned to the sport in 2008 and competed in domestic qualifying competitions,[1] but did not qualify for the 2009 Canadian Figure Skating Championships.
