Destinations

Jetconnect operates domestic flights in New Zealand under the Qantas brand, using Jetconnect aircraft and crew, and service Auckland, Wellington, Rotorua, Christchurch, and Queenstown. They also operate short-haul trans-tasman (i.e. between Australia and New Zealand) flights, serving Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Wellington. They also operate longhaul international flights alongside Qantas mainline crews from Australia to various international destinations around the world.

Shorthaul Division

Jetconnect shorthaul crew and aircraft also operates all international flights to and from Wellington and selected trans-tasman flights to and from Auckland. All international flights from Christchurch and most international flights from Auckland are operated by Qantas itself. The airline's cabin crew are also responsible for crewing Jetstar flights based out of Christchurch to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Coolangatta (Gold Coast).

Longhaul Division

Jetconnect employs longhaul cabin crew based out of Auckland, who make up crew complement on Qantas flights throughout the longhaul network, feeding into the system by way of flights from Auckland. The crew operate as contractors who are therefore cheaper to employ than Australian based full-time employees.
