Rani Price, born Rani Khanijau (born 29 January, Liverpool) is a children's television presenter who currently presents shows on the CBBC Channel and BBC One

Television career

Children's Television

Rani has presented a variety of children's shows for Disney, Channel 5 and Nickelodeon.

Her first appearance on CBBC was when she co-presented the children's reality show Best of Friends with CBBC favourite Abs. She has a catchphrase of "no way" which she often said to people whilst speaking in the show. She became a popular face on the CBBC Channel where she presented links between programmes until 2006, although returning briefly as a guest presenter in April 2007 on CBBC One. She was also seen presenting the ROAR programme for CBBC.

Other appearances

She appeared on Celebrity MasterChef in 2007 alongside fellow celebrities such as the dancer and Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood, former English cricketer Phil Tuffnell and the eventual winner, TV presenter and ex-EastEnders actress Nadia Sawalha.

Personal life

Rani married in 2007 and changed her name to Rani Price. She is fluent in Punjabi. She has admitted that she would love to run a marathon but at the moment she's "too busy doing DIY"! One of her biggest ambitions is to work with an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka.
