The 2006 European Figure Skating Championships were the European Figure Skating Championships of the 2005-2006 season. Skaters competed in the categories of men's singles, ladies singles, pairs, and ice dancing. Skaters must have reached the age of 15 by July 1, 2007 in order to compete. The competition was open to skaters from a European Member nation of the International Skating Union. The corresponding competition for non-European skaters were the 2006 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships.

The 2006 championships were held in Lyon, France, from January 17 to January 22, 2006. The competitions took place at the Palais des Sports de Gerland.
