Frederick S. Pardee RAND Graduate School

The Frederick S. Pardee RAND Graduate School (PRGS) is an American higher education institution, co-located with the RAND Corporation's headquarters in Santa Monica, California.

Founded in 1970 as the RAND Graduate Institute, PRGS was one of the eight original schools of public policy in the United States. As of January 2006, PRGS has awarded over 180 Ph.D.s in Policy Analysis. The core curriculum includes graduate coursework in microeconomics, statistics and econometrics, social and behavioral sciences, and operations research. In addition to coursework, qualifying examinations, and the dissertation, PRGS students are also required to work 400 days of practicum on RAND Corporation projects.

The current dean of the school is John Graham.
