Ien Ang (born 1954 [cite LAF|id=n83-73157] ) is Professor of
Cultural Studies at the Centre for Cultural Research at theUniversity of Western Sydney (UWS),Australia , where she was the founding director and is currently an ARC Professorial Fellow. She is also a Fellow of theAustralian Academy of the Humanities .Fact|date=February 2008Born in
