Gawler Oval railway station is a railway station on the Gawler railway line which is located in the South Australian town of Gawler. It is located 41.4km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. During 2006, the platform at Gawler Oval was extended to accommodate 3 car trains as well as having a new passenger shelter installed. Before the platform was lengthened, only 2 car trains could use the platform and even then, the driver had to stop in precisely the right place so none of the train doors were beyond either end of the platform.
