Network engineer

Network engineer

A Network Engineer is an Information Technology professional who designs and implements computer networks. The Network Engineers duties differ from those of a Network Administrator but may overlap.

In general, the Network Engineer will not regularly perform system administration tasks but concentrates on networking devices and infrastructure such as routers, switches, and the cables, media, and protocols that connect the devices on a network.
