Billy Mohler is an
L.A -basedsongwriter , producer, and multi-instrumentalist . He was raised inSouth Orange County and isBill Medley 's (of the Righteous Bros.) godson. He attended and graduated fromBerklee College of Music where he studied both electric and acoustic bass.He is currently a member of the
Jimmy Chamberlin Complex , and is good friends with Chamberlin. The two first met when Mohler auditioned forZwan , Chamberlin's former band. While he wasn't hired, Mohler and Chamberlin became quick friends. It was Mohler who Chamberlin called first after securing a record deal. Mohler contributed greatly to the band's first album, co-writing and co-producing it with ChamberlinLife Begins Again , playingbass guitar , electric guitar and keyboards throughout, and singing in "Streetcrawler" and "Newerwaves". He has recorded withLiz Phair , Kelly Clarkson, Macy Gray, and in addition to producing with the Chamberlin Complex, has producing credits for Limp Bizkit. Family and friends of the young musician make him out to be a wonderfully talented young man, and from his credits, this is easy to see.Billy Mohler is also one half of the LA writing and production team Heroes and Villains.
