* Rollo, occasionally known as Rollo the Viking, (c. 860 - c. 932) was the founder and first ruler of the Viking principality in what soon became known as Normandy. He is also in some sources known as "Robert of Normandy", using his baptismal name. Father of William I Longsword, Duke of Normandy

* Robert II was son of duke Richard I of Normandy and his second wife Gunnora. He was a younger brother of duke Richard II, and uncle of duke Robert II. He was archbishop of Rouen (989 to 1037) and also count of Évreux.

* Robert the Magnificent (June 22, 1000 – 3 July 1035), also called "the Devil" or "Robert I", was the Duke of Normandy from 1027 until his death. He was the son of Richard II of Normandy and Judith, daughter of Conan I of Rennes. He was the father of William the Conqueror.

* Robert Curthose or Robert II (c. 1051 or 1054–February 10, 1134) was the Duke of Normandy. He was the eldest son of William the Conqueror, the first Norman king of England, and Matilda of Flanders
