October 22 ,1959 ) is an American actor, writer and director best known for his2003 independent film "Camp". Graff is an alumnus both as a camper and counselor of theStagedoor Manor performing arts summer camp in upstateNew York . Graff is also a graduate ofPurchase College .Besides "Camp", Graff's writing credits include "
Used People ", "The Vanishing ", and "The Beautician and the Beast ". As an actor, Graff appeared in several films including "Death to Smoochy ", "Strange Days", "Not Quite Paradise ", and "The Abyss ". He was nominated for aTony Award for his portrayal of Danny in Broadway's "Baby" in 1984.On January 12, 2006, "Variety" magazine reported Graff would be the new director of the upcoming film "Slammer" featuring
Sarah Jessica Parker .He will also be directing a new musical by

Sesame Street ", which was released by Columbia/CBS Records in 1970, but he rose to fame in1975 when he played Jesse, a member of the Short Circus on thePBS children's television series "The Electric Company ".
