Terk (or Terkina, as called by her mother) is an animated gorilla, a character in the Disney film "Tarzan", its direct-to-video sequel "Tarzan & Jane", its direct-to-video midquel "Tarzan II", and the animated TV series "The Legend of Tarzan". Terk was loosely adapted from the ape character Terkoz in the original novel "Tarzan of the Apes" by Edgar Rice Burroughs, on which the film is based.

In the novel, Terkoz is a male of the "Mangani", the otherwise unspecified species of Great Ape among whom Tarzan is raised, and a rival and enemy of Tarzan. In the film, Terk (short for Terkina), is a female gorilla, Tarzan's best friend and companion. As initially shown she has a bit of a crush on Tarzan, but stands aside for Jane. Terk and Tarzan are portrayed more like sister and brother in subsequent appearances. She is quite a tomboy, which makes her commonly mistaken for a juvenile male gorilla.

The character's voice was provided by Rosie O'Donnell in "Tarzan" and by Brenda Grate in "Tarzan II". In the show and "Tarzan & Jane", she is played by April Winchell and in the video games her voice is supplied by Audrey Wasilewski. This includes the English version of "Kingdom Hearts" in which she has only one very brief line. Yuko Doi does her Japanese voice.
