Prince Kubrat of Bulgaria, Prince of Panagiurishte (born November 5, 1965), is the third son of Tsar Simeon II of Bulgaria and his wife Doña Margarita Gómez-Acebo y Cejuela. He was born in Madrid. The Prince of Panagurishte is a doctor and knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
In Madrid on July 2, 1993 Kubrat married "doña" Carla María de la Soledad Royo-Villanova y Urrestarazu, daughter of Jaime Royo-Villanova y Paya and wife María del Carmen Urrestarazu y Ozueta. They have three sons:
*HRH Prince Mirko Panagiurishtski of Bulgaria, born April 26, 1995 in Madrid.
*HRH Prince Lukás Panagiurishtski of Bulgaria, born July 15, 1997 in Madrid.
*HRH Prince Tirso Panagiurishtski of Bulgaria, born June 3, 2002 in Madrid.
He is the godfather of Pablo Nicolás Urdangarín y de Borbón.
