Central Finland (formerly Vaasa Province East) is a
constituency represented in the Finnish "Eduskunta " (parliament). It covers the administrative region ofCentral Finland , with a population of about 265,000 (as of 2002 ). Central Finland currently elects ten members of the "Eduskunta".The constituency is largely rural, and the only major city in the area is
