Japanese destroyer Shirakumo

"Shirakumo" (白雲) was a Fubuki class destroyer in the Imperial Japanese Navy that saw service during World War II. She was torpedoed by the US submarine "Tautog" while escorting a troop convoy to Uruppu Island. "Shirakumo" sank instantly 170 miles east of Muroran, Hokkaido (coord|42|25|N|144|55|E), there were no survivors.
