Sound of Music Studios

Sound of Music was founded in 1994 by David Lowery of Cracker/Camper Van Beethoven, John Morand, and Miguel Urbiztondo, and also includes Craig Harmon as co-owner. Bryan Hoffa is a significant stakeholder in this company as well.

The studio is located in downtown Richmond, Virginia. In 2003, Sound of Music opened a sister studio Brooklyn studio in Breukelen, Netherlands
