L.P. is a rock musician from New York City known only by her initials. She tours and performs with her band, which consists of guitarists Tony Finn and Josh Flagg, bassist Scott Kelliher, and drummer Scott Campbell. L.P. is openly gay, and her song "Wasted" (from album Suburban Sprawl & Alcohol) is the theme song for the lesbian-themed television show South of Nowhere.

L.P. is signed to SoBe Entertainment. She released a single, "Good With You" in 2007, and her third album is due out in January, 2009.
