Jamie Reeves

Jamie Reeves (born May 3, 1963, Sheffield, England) is a British former coal miner, strongman, and winner of the World's Strongest Man title. As a strongman competitor, gripping events were his speciality.

*1988 - 3rd, with 47 points
*1989 - 1st, with 54.5 points
*1990 - injury
*1991 - injury
*1992 - 2nd (joint with Magnus Ver Magnusson), with 62 points

He was only the second winner from the United Kingdom and now works as an International Federation of Strength Athletes judge.

Domestic competition history

As well as winning the Britain's Strongest Man competition four times (1988, 1989, 1992 and 1998), he also won the British Muscle Power Championship twice, the 1986 National Truck Pulling Championships - (ASA/Bristol Street Motors) and England's Strongest Man nine times (1987 to 1989 and 1992 to 1997). Additionally, he competed in East Britain Strongest Man winning that in 1988, Yorkshire’s Strongest Man winning that three times (1987 to 1989) and in Midland's Strongest Man (winning in 1987 and 1989, although he came second to Peter Tregloan in 1986).
