Punjabi Bagh (
Hindi : पंजाबी बाग़,Urdu : پنجابی باغ) is an area ofDelhi ,India . It also is one of the three subzones ofWest Delhi .Considered one of the most upmarket areas in
Delhi , Punjabi Bagh has seen rapid commercial growth since the mid-nineties with the opening of innumerablebank s,restaurants , health clubs and other businesses in the area. RichSikh businessmen and people who migrated from Pakistan after partition constitute a significant part of the population.The adjacent area of paschim vihar is also well planned and a very beautiful locality.It houses some famous schools ofDelhi , such as the Hans Raj Model School, Guru Harkrishan Public School(GHPS) and some specialty hospitals like the Maharaja Agrasen Hospital.Divided into 2 parts mainly the Eastside and the Westside Punjabi Bagh it is well connected to various parts of the city and has a fairly good bus network and roads. It is also well connected to the Metro as the nearest metro station is about 3 km from the main Punjabi Bagh junction.
For recreation and social gatherings there is a club called the Punjabi Bagh Club mainly for the residents of Punjabi Bagh offering a lot of facilities like
