Polygon Wood is a forest located between Ypres and Zonnebeke, Belgium.

Description

Polygon Wood was a significant First World War battlefield in the Third Battle of Ypres, also known as the "Battle for Passchendaele". It was captured by the Australian 5th Division on September 26, 1917 during the Battle of Menin Road.
