Good Scouts

"Good Scouts" (1938) is a Donald Duck cartoon which features Donald as the leader of Huey, Dewey, and Louie's scout troop.

The cartoon begins with Donald and his nephews hiking in the great outdoors in Yellowstone National Park. Throughout the cartoon, Donald teaches his nephews about tree-cutting, tent-pitching, first aid, and wild animals all while managing to do everything wrong.

Trivia

*Huey, Dewey, and Louie act much differently in this cartoon than in their first cartoon, "Donald's Nephews". Donald seems to bring much of the chaos all on himself, whereas previously the boys purposely ganged up on their uncle.
*Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Subject in 1938.
