CyberMedia , a public company providing automatic service and support software for the PC.Biography
Unni Warrier is a tech entrepreneur. He founded HealthBack in 2004 to provide
turnkey management services for Independent Physical Groups (IPAs) andHMO s. Warrier holds both a master's degree in computer science and a master's degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology. His business achievements have been chronicled in major publications including "Forbes " and the "Los Angeles Times ".Before that, Warrier started Kron in
1998 with long-time business partnerAnne Lam to provide integrated communications solutions to both the public and private sectors. Prior to Kron, Warrier foundedCyberMedia , a provider of automatic PC service and support software, and served as its CEO from1991 to1998 . Warrier grew the company from revenues of $5 million in early1995 to more than $40 million in1996 . He took the company public later that year and was awarded "IPO of the Year" by Red Herring, as well as "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Software Council of Southern California. In1997 , the company's revenues exceeded $70 million. Deloitte and Touche recognized CyberMedia as the fastest growing company in Los Angeles from1993 -1997 . In1989 , Warrier founded NetLabs, a network management company that was later sold to Seagate Technologies.Lawsuit

class action lawsuit was filed in theU.S. District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of purchasers of CyberMedia, Inc. (NASDAQ: CYBR) common stock during the Class Period ofJuly 22 ,1997 throughMarch 13 ,1998 .The defendants include CyberMedia and certain of its officers and directors, including Warrier. The Complaint charges that defendants violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10-b(5) by, among other things: issuing false misleading statements regarding CyberMedia's financial condition as well as its present and future business prospects and improperly accounting for its return reserves in violation of generally accepted accounting principles.
