Modular game board

Modular game board

A modular game board is a mechanic used in some board games where the board is comprised of several smaller sections that can be combined in different ways to create the play area. Sometimes the board will be constructed at the outset of the game, as seen in "Settlers of Catan", "RoboRally", and "Memoir '44". In other instances, the board will be built over the course of the game, as seen in "Tikal" and "Zombies!!!". [cite web
