Carra (also spelled Cahra or "Ceara" in Irish) is an area in Ireland located approximately two miles from Bonniconlon and eight miles from Ballina. Carra is part of the Bonniconlon parish in the Achonry Diocese, near the Mayo/Sligo border.

At the heart of the area is the local school: Carra National School. This is a three teacher school with a current enrolment of 43 pupils. There are two other schools in the parish: Bonniconlon National School and Bofield National School.
