Son of God is a phrase found in the
Hebrew Bible , various other Jewish texts and theNew Testament . In the holy Hebrew scriptures, according to Jewish religious tradition, it is related to many diverse subjects, as toangels , humans and even all mankind. According to most Christian traditions, it refers to the relationship betweenJesus and theGod Yahweh (seeGod the Son ) as well as a relationship achievable by believing Christians: "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God."
