Sport Luanda e Benfica, usually known as Benfica de Luanda or simply as Benfica, is a football (soccer) club from Luanda, Angola. The club is named after Sport Lisboa e Benfica, of Portugal, and shares the same colors. The logo is also very similar to the Portuguese one. The club, as of 2005, has never won the Girabola (which is the name of the Angolan league first division) or the Angolan Cup. The club is currently disputing the Girabola.

The club is nicknamed "Leões de Luanda", meaning "Luanda Lions" (ironically, the lion is the symbol of SL Benfica's rivals, Sporting CP). The club was originally founded as Sport Luanda e Benfica, the club was later renamed to Saneamentos Rangol. In 2000, the club returned to its previous name, Sport Luanda e Benfica ref|namechange.

In 1995, as Saneamentos Rangol, the club was promoted to the following year's first division ref|saneamentos. In 2003, Benfica Luanda was relegated to the second division ref|relegation. In 2004, th club was the runner-up of the second division, and was promoted to the first division ref|promotion. In 2005, the club finished in 6th in the first division ref|2005.
