(Boulenger, 1885)Rough-bellied Day Gecko Cnemaspis tropidogaster is a species of day gecko found in the Western Ghats of India and Sri Lanka.
Distribution in the southern Western Ghats is patchy and relatively uncommon. Active during the day. Distinct head, elongated snout, keeled ventral scales; dark brown dorsal side with transverse arrangement of light and dark variegations. Pale brown/cream underside with spiny tubercles on body sides. Males have 2-4 and 3-6 preanal and femoral pores respectively.
