Overview

The Evo Flyer is a Microraptor-type Zoid created by the Helic Republic.

Fuzor

The Evo Flyer is classified as a Fuzor, as it is capable of combining with the Gairyuki, to form the Gairyuki Speed.

The Evo Flyer appeared in "", alongside the other Gairyuki Fuzor partner, Dispelow. Both Zoids are wild, and were first encountered terrorising convoys heading towards Blue City. During Mach Storm's failed attempt to capture or disable the two wild Zoids, both of Evo Flyer's modes are depicted.

The Evo Flyer is revealed to be a Fuzor partner in episode 20, although it is not used until the next episode, where the speed of the combined Zoids allows Blake to defeat the Gravity Wolf and Gravity Saurer. This fusion is used again in episode 22, when Blake helps RD stop the rampaging Gojulas Giga. The Gairyuki Speed's final appearance is during the battle against the Energy Ray Liger at the end of episode 24, which lasts for only a few minutes. The Speed Fuzor split upon attempting to strike the Energy Ray Liger head-on, damaging the Evo Flyer. Dialog in the English language version of episode 26 indicates that the Evo Flyer is no longer :up and running".

New Japanese Release - Blox

Evo Flyer reuses one sprue of parts from the Unenlagia design.

The Evo Flyer is moulded in grey, white, black, and light blue, with orange translucent pieces.

Black Evo Flyer

Recoloured in black, metallic grey, and light blue, the Black Evo Flyer was released as a competition prize, along with a similarly recoloured Gairyuki.

Related Zoids
