The Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament was started in 1974 in Melbourne, Australia with only six soccer clubs participating at Melbourne Croatia's ground in Essendon. The first official tournament was in 1975, hosted by Sydney United and taken out by HNK Chelsea.
