Nick Triani (born Nicholas Traina on February 25, 1966) is a British musician and a record producer. Brought up in Staines, England by Italian parents, he currently resides in Finland. He was formerly the singer with Supermodel, a punky lo-fi band signed to the legendary London-based indie record label, Fire Records. Other former Supermodel members include Wolsey White who is now the producer for indie rock band Hard-Fi.[1]
Triani moved to Finland in 1998 and has produced many major Finnish acts, including Apulanta, Giant Robot, Manboy, Mummypowder, The Duplo!, Sister Flo, Astrid Swan, Arto Muna ja Millennium and Inis. Triani also fronts a Finnish indie 'supergroup', Treeball, with Astrid Swan, and more recently N.T.'s White Trash. Triani also hosts a weekly radio show, 8 and a half, on Radio Helsinki, every Thursday between 7-9pm (Finnish Time).
