Michel Bon is a French businessman and politician born in 1943. He is a graduate of the ESSEC, of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, of the École nationale d'administration and of Stanford Business School.[1]
He worked at the banks Crédit Nationale and Crédit Agricole.[2] He has been CEO then Chairman of the supermarket group Carrefour.[2] From 1993to 1995 he was head of the French unemployment agency.[2] He was Chairman of France Télécom from 1995 to 2002.[2][3]
He was formerly president of the Institut Pasteur.[1] He is also an administrator at Lafarge and formerly of Air Liquide.[1]
