John Charles "Jack" Hill (born June 25, 1923, Murrumbeena, Victoria, died August 11, 1974, Caulfield, Victoria) was an Australian cricketer who played in 3 Tests from 1953 to 1955.

He was educated at St Patrick's College, Ballarat.

He served in the R.A.A.F. from 1942 to 1945.

He played District Cricket firstly for the Melbourne Cricket Club and, later in his career, the St Kilda Cricket Club. He played Sheffield Shield cricket for Victoria and Test cricket for Australia.

At the time of his death he was a high-level civil servant in the Age and Invalid Pension division of the Victorian Office of the Commonwealth Department of Social Security.

He is a member of the Ballarat Sports Museum's Hall of Fame.
