Catch Phrases

Bruce always starts off the beginning of each PPV with the phrase "We are LIIIIIIVE!".

Before each main event Buffer proclaims, "This is the Main Event of the evening", followed by the ever exciting "IT"S TIME!"... before introducing the final two fighters.

Besides his catch phrases, Buffer also has a habit of motioning to one corner before quickly spinning and pointing directly to the corner being introduced. In an interview with MMAMemories.com dated March 26th, 2008 Buffer is quoted saying "Let’s call it the 'Buffer 180.'"

Bruce has announced many other MMA promotions internationally including K-1 events and also the 2008 Casamayor/Katsidis boxing event on HBO... he also announces for the ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) submission wrestling tournament held every two years around the world.

Mixed Martial Arts Training

Buffer has been awarded two Black Belts rating in the martial arts and was an avid amateur kick-boxer up to the age of 32 and stills trains currently.
