Mahon ,Minorca (Spain ). But the island, which was its habitat, was destroyed when Port Mahon was rebuilt. The last sign of this subspecies was in 1950 and it seems to be extinct. Four specimens of this Europeanreptile are conserved in museum collections. They have only been seen else where on aye island in menorca, punta prima.References
