- Fultenbach Abbey
Fultenbach Abbey (Kloster Fultenbach) was a house of the
Benedictine Order located atHolzheim inBavaria inGermany .Dedicated to
Saint Michael , the monastery was founded by BishopWikterp or Wigbert, the first documentedbishop of Augsburg , who died in771 .It was dissolved in
1803 in the secularisation of the period, and the buildings were demolished in1811 . The monastery library was transferred to the "Lyceum" at Dillingen.External links
