Robert O. Ragland

Robert O. Ragland (born in Chicago, July 3 1931) is an American film score composer.

Ragland attended Northwestern University and also earned degrees at the Academy of Music in Vienna. He served as a music arranger for the Dorsey Brothers Orchestra in his early years.

He turned to film music in 1968. Ragland created the scores for films such as "Seven Alone", "Abby, , Return to Macon County, Sharks Treasure, Grizzly, Mansion of the Doomed, Q - The Winged Serpent, 10 To Midnight, The Fear, Plato's Run", and "Crime and Punishment".

Ragland is as of 2006 semi-retired.
