Field Applications Engineer

Field Applications Engineer

A Field Applications Engineer typically provides technical support for a manufacturer (particularly, but not exclusively an OEM) of products, or a distributor that sells or represents products.

It focuses on different product lines and typically serves all regional engineers by providing in-depth technical knowledge relating to their products in pre-sales and post-sales roles.

Pre-sales support to provide assurances to the potential client that the product will work for what the client requires.

Post-Sales support to assist with integration of the product into the design/working scenario or to help the customer out of a problem situation with the product.
