Digital Promotion

As a distinct digital culture continues to evolve, new techniques to market and advertise using digital technologies has evolved as well. Digital promotion is a discipline that uses digital technologies to promote, advertise or otherwise sell an idea. As a discipline, it seeks to utilize these technologies in unique ways to further facilitate effective marketing. Some examples include viral marketing, pattern recognition, the use of smart mobs.
