Carolyn Suzanne Sapp

Blue-eyed Carolyn Suzanne Sapp (born 1967) is Miss America 1992 and the former Miss Hawaii 1991. She is a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University, which also sponsored her entry pageant into the Miss Hawaii contest. Before being crowned Miss America 1992, Sapp had already participated in Miss Hawaii three times

After her reign, Sapp starred as herself in the autobiographical television movie "". It was about the abusive relationship she had with her ex-boyfriend and former pro football player, Nuu Faaola. The attention to this relationship during her reign lead to a dramatic increase in calls to domestic abuse hotlines.Sapp is interviewed in the documentary "Wal*Mart Nation* (2007) by the Canadian film maker Andrew Munger.
