In policy debate, the affirmative (AFF) is the team which affirms the resolution.
The affirmative team speaks first and last. They give four speeches:
*First affirmative constructive (1AC)
*Second affirmative constructive (2AC)
*First affirmative rebuttal (1AR)
*Second affirmative rebuttal (2AR)
