Denyer is a member of the first Australian-generation.huh? His parents, Maureen and Anthony, met and married in
England before migrating toAustralia . They lived inAdelaide, South Australia with their first child, David (born in the UK). Soon after, they moved toCampbelltown, New South Wales . The first Denyer child to be born in Australia was Stephen, born in 1971. Paul was the next child, born onApril 14 ,1972 . Richard was born two years later followed by the twins Natalie and Anthony Jr. in 1976.When Denyer was a child his mother recalls him rolling from a table and hurting his head. There was one occasion when his brother, David, woke to find Paul kneeling on his bed, rocking forwards and banging his head on the front of the bed. He once cut the family's kitten and hung it from a tree. At school, he once assaulted a fellow student whilst the victim was chewing a pen, causing the pen to become lodged in the victim's throat. Denyer also had a fetish for stealing neighbors' underwear off the line and then masturbating with them.
Murders
During a seven week period in 1993, Denyer stalked and murdered three women in the Melbourne suburb of Frankston. Denyer was 21 at the time of his crimes. ex reassignment requests
Whilst imprisoned, Denyer requested to be allowed to purchase and wear ladies cosmetics, which was denied.
Denyer also filed freedom of information requests to learn of the Victorian government's policy on gender reassignment surgery for prisoners and has sought evaluation to determine his suitability for such surgery, which was also rejected by medical specialists.
