Bodybuilding.com currently employs 235 workers between the Boise headquarters and warehouses in Florida and Pennsylvania. In 2005, Bodybuilding.com was ranked No. 230 on Inc.'s 500, a list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. In addition to its namesake website which is an on line store with editorial content and forums related to the bodybuilding and fitness industry. Bodybuilding.com also operates Athletes.com, and markets its own line of sports nutrition products under the brand name Higher Power.

Bodybuilding.com also runs a bulletin board forum, that is one of the largest user forums in its category. As of 2008, it has over 1 million registered users, and over 25 million user posts.
