Helperby is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England, about five miles west of Easingwold.

Helperby has a new Millennium hall, a post office, which has now changed hands and is a part time cafe now, a village shop known as "Nancy's" and a butcher's shop. There are two churches, a Church of England and a disused Methodist Chapel, which is now a house.

The film "The Life and Crimes of William Palmer" was filmed in the village in 1998.
