Luka Balvan

Luka Balvan (born 1967 in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian Croat musician and songwriter. He is one of the top Croatian religious singers.fact|date=January 2008 He has also produced patriotic music.

After his family was forced to leave Banja Luka in 1993 because of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he started a project called "Ima jedan grad" ("There is One City"). He wrote several songs about what was happening in his native city.

One of his largest performances was at a youth meeting held in Loreto, Italy at which Pope John Paul II was present.fact|date=January 2008 He also performed for the pope during his visit to Croatia in 1997.fact|date=January 2008
