The Peace Party is a small
political party in theUnited Kingdom . The party was founded in 1996 as the Pacifist Party by a group of activists inGuildford ,Surrey .The party stood one candidate in the 1997 and 2001 general elections, and two in the 2005 election, having broadened their remit to become a national party.
