Operation Safeguard
Operation Safeguard is the umbrella under which Central Scotland Police tackles the increasingly worrying trend of violent crime. Operation Safeguard links in closely with Operation Reassurance which addresses the general fear of crime.
Operation Overlord
Operation Overlord addresses substance abuse and drug dealing at all levels. Members of the force Drugs Unit work closely with other forces and drugs agencies in an effort to ensure that the activity of drugs dealers operating in the force area is disrupted as much as possible.
Operation Reassurance
Operation Reassurance is the theme name for all high profile policing carried out by Central Scotland Police officers whether it be foot or mobile patrol or targeted operations. Fear of crime is prevalent in all walks of life and is a normal human response to perceived threat. Operation Reassurance seeks to address these fears and by interactive policing, bring proportion to situations which may have led to misconception.
Operation Tundra
Operation Tundra addresses the issues surrounding all aspects of road safety and aims to make our roads safer places in which to either be a driver, passenger or pedestrian. Although predominantly driven by the Road Policing, Accident Prevention and Road Safety Units all officers throughout the force have a responsibility to tackle the issues under this theme.
Operation Advance
Operation Advance is our approach to provide continued support to the other four operational pillars of Safer Central. It is achieved through the successful implementation of key strategic initiatives and developments currently taking place throughout Central Scotland Police.
