Minister for the Environment of Denmark (Danish: Miljøminister) is the politically appointed head of the Danish Ministry of the Environment, and a member of the Cabinet. The current Minister for the Environment in the Cabinet of Helle Thorning-Schmidt is Ida Auken from the Socialist People's Party.
The ministry and the minister post was created in 1971; the ministry was named Ministry of Pollution Combating until 1973.
