Kim Sung-Ju (1891-1955) onOctober 5 1919 , during the Japanese Imperial Period, to assist in achieving national independence by helping create economic self-sufficiency for Korea. Kim established it under the nameGyeongseong Textile Corporation (경성방직주식회사, 京城紡織株式會社). The company was incorporated under its current name onJuly 14 ,1970 .The company has operations in
Yeongdeungpo-gu Seoul ,Yongin Gyeonggi-do ,Gwangju , Banwol ComplexAnsan Gyeonggi-do of 4 plants. It also operates an overseas branch inOsaka ,Japan .ources
