"The Underground" is the University of Toronto at Scarborough's Official Student Newspaper since 1982. It is currently printed in a news magazine format. "The Underground" is also a member of the Canadian University Press.
The news magazine became autonomous to get away from the UTSC students' union. Previously known as The Balcony Square, "The Underground" has been a champion of degeneracy and opinion pieces while carrying out journalism.
