Nancy Stephens Born 1949 Nancy Stephens (born 1949) is an American actress who has starred in many films and television shows. She is best known for her appearances in John Carpenter films; her most well-known being in the 1978 hit horror movie Halloween as Nurse Marion Chambers, who assisted Dr. Loomis in treating Michael Myers and also in the manhunt when he escaped. She reprised her role in the 1981 sequel Halloween II further expanding the character of Marion, helping Dr. Loomis track down Michael's rampage. She appeared once more in the 1998 sequel Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, this time directed by Steve Miner, her character was living in a nearby town from Haddonfield and had a protected file on Laurie Strode. Her character was killed off after facing Michael Myers once more, who broke into her house to steal Laurie's protected file. The other John Carpenter film she starred in was in the 1981 movie Escape from New York as revolutionary hijacking Air Force One over New York City.
Stephens starred in the soap opera Bright Promise as Jennifer Matthews from 1969–1970 and in the soap opera Days of our Lives as Mary Anderson.
She has made guest appearances on many sitcoms such as All in the Family, CHiPs, Cheers, Ally McBeal, and Boston Legal.
